Outsunny 2-Seater Garden Rattan Sofa and Sun Lounger Set serves as a versatile garden centrepiece, seamlessly transitioning from a compact two-seater sofa to an expansive daybed via its adjustable backrest. We particularly rate the superior 8mm PE wicker construction and generous 8cm-thick fire-retardant cushions, which significantly outperform standard 6mm alternatives for UK outdoor longevity. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this set for those prioritising modular flexibility and premium ergonomic support in smaller patio or balcony configurations.
If you are looking for a versatile piece of outdoor furniture, this Outsunny 2 Seater Rattan Sofa Sun Lounger is an exceptional upgrade for any UK garden or patio. Designed for those who value flexibility, this two-piece set functions as a stylish two-seater garden sofa, a footstool, or a full-length sun lounger. Whether you are hosting a morning coffee or spending a lazy afternoon in the sun, this modular set provides the perfect foundation.
Engineering notes from our product team show that the structure is significantly more robust than entry-level market alternatives. While many standard sets utilise 6mm rattan, this model features 8mm PE wicker. This increased gauge, paired with a powder-coated steel frame, offers superior UV resistance and weather protection. The two hinged side tables integrated into the sofa design are a thoughtful touch, providing a stable surface for refreshments without the need for an additional side table.
Comfort is a primary concern for long-term outdoor relaxation. Unlike cheaper versions that often use thin 5cm cushions, this model includes 8cm thick seat and base cushions and substantial 13cm thick stool cushions. These are filled with 23D fire-retardant sponge, strictly adhering to UK BS5852 safety standards. Our store product specialists highlight that the inclusion of two extra scatter cushions filled with PP cotton offers a level of ergonomic support that is rare in two-seater garden sets at this price point.
Care and Maintenance Advice: While the 180gm polyester cushion covers are zipped and machine-washable, please note that they are not 100% waterproof. We strongly advise storing these cushions indoors during inclement weather to prevent moisture build-up and potential mildew.
