Outsunny Foldable Reclining Sun Lounger with Pillow and Reading Hole, Blue
For those seeking the ultimate garden relaxation setup, this Outsunny sun lounger offers a sophisticated upgrade to standard outdoor furniture. Designed with ergonomics in mind, this portable tanning bed features a unique integrated face hole—a "massage-style" aperture that allows you to lie comfortably on your front without straining your neck. Whether you are catching up on a novel or simply enjoying the sunshine, this feature makes it vastly superior to traditional flat loungers that force you to turn your head at an awkward angle.
Our consultants often recommend this model for customers who prioritise comfort during extended periods of rest. The lounger is supported by a robust, powder-coated steel frame capable of holding a maximum weight of 120kg, ensuring stability during use. While there are lighter plastic alternatives on the market, the steel construction of this piece provides a significantly more durable and rigid base for daily use throughout the British summer.
Based on observations from our consultants, the versatility of the adjustable backrest—which offers four distinct locking positions—is a highlight for users who switch between upright reading and horizontal sunbathing. Unlike fixed-position loungers, this adjustability allows for precise lumbar support adjustments, helping to prevent the back aches often associated with cheaper, non-ergonomic garden chairs.
Key Benefits of this Adjustable Garden Tanning Bed
- Integrated Reading Hole: Specifically engineered for comfort whilst lying prone, perfect for reading or sunbathing without cervical strain.
- 4-Position Reclining Mechanism: Easily transition from a seated reading position to a fully flat sunbathing mode using the secure locking system.
- Portable & Space-Saving: The foldable steel frame ensures that when not in use, the lounger can be tucked away in sheds or garages, measuring just 71L x 15W x 58H cm when collapsed.
- Robust Build Quality: Crafted from high-density Oxford cloth and a powder-coated steel frame to withstand garden environments.
Expert Caution: While the steel frame is powder-coated for rust resistance, we advise storing this item indoors during the damp winter months to maintain the longevity of the fabric and metal integrity. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged in your desired position before applying your full body weight to avoid accidental slippage.
