HOMCOM Computer PC Desk with Sliding Keyboard Tray Storage Drawer Shelf, Grey

HOMCOM Computer PC Desk with Sliding Keyboard Tray, Storage Drawer and Shelf in Grey

If you are looking to optimise a compact home office or a dual-purpose bedroom workspace, this HOMCOM PC workstation offers a unique architectural footprint that balances form and function. Unlike traditional bulky rectangular desks, this piece features an asymmetrical, multi-tier design that integrates essential storage without overwhelming your floor plan.

The desk is constructed from durable particle board, finished with a resilient melamine coating. This protective layer is a significant advantage over raw wood veneers, as it provides a smooth, wipe-clean surface resistant to light scratches and liquid spills common in busy office environments. From the practical experience of our consultants, this grey finish is particularly effective at masking minor dust accumulation compared to high-gloss black or stark white models, making it a superior choice for lower-maintenance home settings.

This unit provides a sophisticated organisational system: a spacious main tabletop for your monitor, a smooth-gliding keyboard tray to save valuable surface area, and a dedicated side shelf alongside a non-woven fabric drawer. The fabric drawer offers a lightweight, discreet solution for stationary or peripherals, while the open side compartment is perfectly proportioned for files or technical manuals. Based on feedback from the FastDaddyshop retail team, this configuration is preferred for users who need to keep their immediate workspace clear for writing or drawing while maintaining quick access to peripheral equipment.

Safety and Technical Considerations: The desk incorporates rounded corners, which we consider a vital safety feature for homes with small children or high-traffic walkways. The unit is designed to support a total maximum load of 50kg, with the side shelf rated for 5kg and the primary storage compartment for 20kg. Please ensure the desk is assembled on a flat, level surface to maintain the integrity of the sliding mechanism. As this desk arrives flat-packed, we advise cross-referencing your hardware count with the manual before assembly to ensure all components are accounted for.
