HOMCOM 2-Door Wardrobe with 2 Drawers, White - 831-290V01WT is a Scandi‑inspired, space‑efficient wardrobe (180 x 80 x 40 cm) combining a 76 cm hanging rail, a roomy top shelf and two slide‑out drawers to keep clothing and accessories organised in compact bedrooms. Made from melamine‑coated particle board with wooden legs and cut‑out handles, it includes anti‑tip stabilisers and a 60 kg load rating. FastDaddyshop consultants advise leaving 5–10 cm clearance behind and securing stabilisers to a solid wall.
Professional curation from FastDaddyshop: the HOMCOM 2-Door Wardrobe with 2 Drawers, White - 831-290V01WT combines clean, Scandinavian-inspired styling with practical storage for UK homes. The unit measures 180H x 80W x 40D cm and is ideal for everyday clothes storage — a main hanging rail of 76 cm suits shirts, blouses and shorter coats, while the top shelf (35H x 76W x 37D cm) and two drawers (inner: 13H x 32W x 33D cm) keep folded items and accessories organised. From the experience of our store managers, this particle board frame with a smooth melamine finish delivers excellent value: easier to maintain and less prone to surface scratches than painted MDF, and cosmetically warmer than plain metal wardrobes.
Our consultants often recommend allowing at least 5–10 cm clearance behind the wardrobe for ventilation and to help with door opening in narrow rooms. Practical notes from FastDaddyshop: the whole unit has a maximum load of 60 kg (shelf 20 kg, hanging rail 10 kg, each drawer 10 kg) — do not exceed these limits. For heavier items or bulk winter coats, consider distributing weight across the shelf and drawer rather than concentrating it on the hanging rail. Assembly is required; expect 45–75 minutes with two adults and standard tools (Philips screwdriver, hammer). For safety, use the supplied anti-tipping straps and fix them to a solid wall at approximately 1.8 m height — our advisors stress this reduces tip-risk especially in homes with children. For longevity, avoid placing the wardrobe in rooms with sustained humidity above 60% or temperatures consistently above 40°C.
