This carbon‑fibre tube infrared heater delivers 2,000 W of rapid, directional warmth to cover 15–20 m², ideal for patios, gazebos and conservatories. Its IP65‑rated, powder‑coated metal frame and supplied protective cover give season‑long outdoor durability, while wall brackets or a floor stand offer flexible siting. With remote and knob controls, 8 heat levels, an 8‑hour timer and tilt cut‑off, FastDaddyshop consultants recommend wall‑mounting at 1.8 m for even coverage or using the stand for portable spot heating.
This expert-curated product guide from FastDaddyshop explains why the Outsunny 2000 W electric infrared patio heater (model 842-507V70BK) is a strong choice for British gardens, patios and garages. Delivering 2,000 W of infrared warmth, it comfortably heats 15–20 m² (roughly a 4.5 m × 4.5 m area) and is ideal for evenings when ambient temperatures fall towards 5–10 °C. From the experience of our store consultants, a 2 kW emitter offers around 33% more power than common 1.5 kW heaters, so it brings local comfort faster in light breezes and on open terraces.
Design highlights you’ll appreciate: IP65-rated metal construction for superior dust and jet‑water resistance (better than many IP44 alternatives), dual control via knob or remote (8 heat levels and an 8‑hour timer), and a safety tilt cut‑off at 10° for peace of mind around pets and children. Our FastDaddyshop advisers often recommend mounting at the specified 1.8 m height for the most even spread; alternatively use the floor stand for portable spot heating. Note: the remote requires 2 × AAA batteries (not included). On practical terms, allow a 1.8 m reach for the mains lead when siting the unit and follow the supplied manual for safe installation and maintenance.
