The HOMCOM Asymmetrical Industrial Bookshelf - White & Gold Tone 836-733V00WT is a vertical, statement storage solution that combines industrial styling with practical organisation. At 60W x 23.5D x 188H cm it stores more than a conventional low bookcase while occupying only 0.14 m² of floor space, making it ideal for compact flats or narrow hallways. With a total weight capacity of 60 kg and 10 kg per shelf, this white-and-gold shelving unit is sturdier than many open-display alternatives and keeps everyday items visible and easy to access.
From the experience of our FastDaddyshop managers, the asymmetrical layout is particularly effective for mixing books (spines to 30 cm high), framed photos and decorative objects without looking cluttered — the effect is neater than uniform shelving. Our consultants often recommend fixing the included anti-tip strap to the wall and loading heavier items low down (do not exceed the 10 kg per shelf limit). Assembly typically takes around 30–45 minutes with one person or about 20–30 minutes with two; an extra pair of hands helps when aligning the steel frame. For family homes: secure the unit and discourage children under 3 from climbing — this reduces risk and meets best-practice safety guidance.
