The HOMCOM 640 CD Storage Tower - Rustic Brown 836-599V00RB is a slim, high‑capacity media tower designed for UK homes where space is at a premium. With room for up to 640 CDs (or 360 DVDs / 430 Blu‑rays) across 14 adjustable shelves, it gives you configurable storage without the bulk of wider cabinets. Our FastDaddyshop consultants often recommend this compact unit for living rooms and bedrooms because its overall dimensions (78.5W x 24D x 175H cm) slide neatly into gaps 24 cm deep or less, and each compartment (37W x 17D x 18H cm) is sized for standard jewel cases and discs. Constructed from particleboard with a smooth melamine finish, it resists everyday scratches and is easy to wipe clean; maximum load is 30 kg overall (approx. 2 kg per compartment), so avoid overloading individual shelves. From the experience of our store managers, always secure the unit to a wall with the supplied anti‑tipping straps and keep it in normal indoor conditions (typical living temperatures of c.15–25°C and moderate humidity) rather than near direct heat sources to protect the board and finishes. In short: a slim media rack that stores more than many narrow CD units while staying affordable and simple to assemble.
