HOMCOM House-Style Single Bed Frame - Black 831-821V00BK is a Scandi‑inspired pine single with a house-shaped top for lightweight curtains or fairy lights, adding character without a bulky headboard. Designed for a 90 x 190 cm mattress (96 × 195 × 150 cm overall), the frame has 15 slats plus two keels to prevent sagging and supports up to 120 kg. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it as a decorative alternative to metal frames for children’s bedrooms or compact guest rooms and advise avoiding heavy items on the roof frame.

The HOMCOM House-Style Single Bed Frame in black (model 831-821V00BK) is a Scandinavian-inspired pine wood single bed that combines playful design with practical support. From the practical experience of our consultants, this house-shaped single bed frame is ideal for a child’s bedroom or a compact guest room where a decorative, low-profile look is preferred. The frame is sized for a standard 90 x 190 cm mattress and has overall dimensions of 96W x 195D x 150H cm, with an eave height of 102 cm — figures that make it compatible with most UK single mattresses and slatted foundations.
Compared with metal single bed frames, the HOMCOM pine construction provides a warmer aesthetic, quieter nightly use and a burr‑free, finely painted finish. The bed’s 15 slats plus two additional keels deliver structural support suitable for a maximum load of 120 kg; based on our managers’ experience this is robust enough for a growing child or a single adult but not intended for two adults or heavy-duty commercial use. Our consultants often recommend checking mattress thickness and weight: mattresses commonly range from 10–25 cm in depth, so confirm fitment and ensure combined mattress plus occupant weight does not exceed 120 kg.
Practical cautions: assembly is required — based on observations from our consultants, two adults will typically complete assembly in around 45–60 minutes using basic tools. Verify the item label before accepting delivery: the specification lists Item Label: 831-821V00GY while the product page uses 831-821V00BK. Also, if you plan to hang heavier items from the roof frame (lights, large ornaments), limit loadings and use appropriate fixings; the house-style top is intended for lightweight decorative use such as fairy lights or curtains.
In practice, FastDaddyshop store managers find this HOMCOM house-frame single bed (also described as a Scandi kids’ bed frame or pinewood house bed) to be a versatile option for those seeking style and everyday reliability. For households needing a very high load capacity or a double/two‑person sleeping solution, a sturdier or larger frame would be preferable; for a decorative, child-friendly single bed that blends function with charm, this model is a sound choice.
