HOMCOM 120cm Round Dining Table, Rustic Brown 83A-522V00RB

The HOMCOM 120cm Round Dining Table in Rustic Brown (item 83A-522V00RB) is a space‑efficient kitchen table designed for everyday family use and casual entertaining. With a 120 cm diameter tabletop the design comfortably accommodates four to six people for meals or board games, while its compact footprint is suitable for kitchens and apartments from 2.26 m². From the practical experience of our consultants, a round table of this size encourages conversation and makes better use of tight floor plans than a similarly sized rectangular table, which often requires more clearance for chairs and walkways.

Construction combines a 3 cm melamine-faced MDF top — chosen for easier cleaning and resistance to scratches, water and everyday heat — with a conical steel base that provides stability, generous legroom and convenient under-table chair storage. Based on observations from our consultants, the rustic brown finish paired with black metal legs suits industrial, modern and transitional interiors. Our consultants often recommend placing a trivet under hot pans rather than placing cookware straight from hob or oven onto the surface to protect the melamine over time. Assembly is required; based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers we advise two people for safe and efficient assembly and to check fixings after the first week of use.

Practical notes: the 100 kg weight capacity is suitable for everyday dining, centrepieces and moderate decorative loads but is not intended for extreme point loads or to act as a workbench. If you regularly host six adults, the 120 cm round top is preferable to a 100 cm round alternative (which commonly seats four) because it offers extra elbow room and a larger usable surface. If you need a table for a very small breakfast nook under 2 m², consider a smaller round table — in practice the 120 cm model performs best in compact flats and open-plan kitchens where a balance of surface area and circulation is required.
