Designed for compact homes and multifunctional rooms, the HOMCOM Four-Seat Drop Leaf Table in Black Wood-Effect (item 83A-296V00BW) is a practical folding dining solution for up to four people. From the practical experience of our consultants at FastDaddyshop, this model is especially well suited to studio flats, small kitchens and eat-in kitchens where space is at a premium. Two lift-up drop leaves extend the surface to an expanding size of 133.4L x 80W x 75H cm; folded, the table reduces to a single folded size of 80W x 83.2D x 75H cm and a compact folded size of 80L x 33W x 75H cm—figures you can use to check fit before purchase.
Built with a metal frame and sturdy particleboard panels in a classic black wood-effect finish, the table combines durability with a neutral look that complements modern and traditional interiors. Our store managers often recommend this drop leaf dining table as a versatile alternative to fixed dining tables or larger extendable tables for households that need occasional extra seating. Wheels with brakes make it simple to reposition, but based on observations from our consultants we advise checking floor surfaces and locking the brakes before use. Assembly is required; total weight capacity is 50 kg (see breakdown below), so avoid placing heavy kitchen appliances or concentrated loads on the drop leaves (maximum 10 kg each).
Comparison note: compared with a fixed four-seater dining table, this folding drop leaf option saves floor space when not in use and adds built-in storage via two shelves (open compartment 71.5 x 24 x 5.5 cm). However, if you regularly host heavier items or large dinner settings, a solid fixed table with a higher load capacity may be preferable. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, this HOMCOM model strikes a good balance between versatility, storage and value for small homes. Practical caution: keep total load under 50 kg and distribute weight evenly—do not exceed the 10 kg limit on any single drop leaf.
