HOMCOM Narrow Shoe Cabinet with Soft-Close Doors Grey 837-469V80GY is a compact, high‑gloss grey shoe cupboard with a shallow 31.5cm depth and soft‑close doors, designed to conceal 15–20 pairs (maximum UK 9.5) while keeping a tabletop for keys or décor. Steel legs lift the unit 15cm to avoid damp, with adjustable foot pads and anti‑tipping straps for stability—respect the 60kg total/10kg per shelf limits. Assembly required; FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this for narrow UK hallways and flats and small living spaces.
This HOMCOM narrow shoe cabinet combines a compact 72W x 31.5D x 95H cm footprint with a high-gloss grey finish and soft-close doors — an ideal solution for small UK hallways and flats where space is at a premium. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, our consultants often recommend this model when customers need enclosed storage for 15–20 pairs (maximum shoe size UK 9.5) without sacrificing a useful tabletop for keys or a lamp.
In practice, the 31.5 cm depth is significantly shallower than many standard shoe cupboards, making it preferable to wider units when you have less than 80 cm of hallway clear space. Steel legs with 15 cm height raise the unit off the floor, helping to avoid damp contact and making cleaning easier; the adjustable foot pads aid stability on uneven floor surfaces. The particleboard construction and high-gloss surface are durable for everyday use but, from the practical experience of our consultants, should not be placed in consistently humid spaces or left in direct sunlight for extended periods to avoid warping and finish damage.
Assembly is required; based on observations from our consultants, allow approximately 45–60 minutes for two people. Important safety note: anti-tipping straps are included and must be secured to the wall as instructed. Respect the stated weight limits — 60 kg overall, 10 kg per shelf and 20 kg for the tabletop — to prevent structural stress. For storing boots or very bulky footwear consider a deeper cabinet; for flats, trainers and dress shoes this narrow shoe storage cupboard is usually the better, space-saving choice.
