This HOMCOM corduroy 2-seater sofa (model 83B-894V70GN) is a wide-seat loveseat purpose-built for compact living rooms and snug corners where comfort must not be compromised by size. With an overall footprint of 170W x 80D x 82H cm and a generous seat area of 140W x 55D x 45H cm, it gives noticeably more room per sitter than many standard loveseats (which are often nearer 120–130cm wide). The deep 55cm seat and 15cm thick seat cushion combine pocket springs, high‑density virgin foam and soft polyfill to deliver a sit that stays supportive over longer periods; the back cushion is 26cm thick for upright but cosy lumbar support.
Our consultants often recommend this HOMCOM 2-seater sofa green as a practical alternative to bulkier three-seaters when floor space is limited. From the practical experience of our consultants, the rubberwood legs (10 cm height) provide a stable base while lifting the frame off the floor for easier cleaning beneath and improved air circulation. The corduroy polyester upholstery is texture-rich and skin-friendly, giving the sofa a tactile, striped appearance that works well in both modern and traditional interiors.
Note the practical limits and safety details: the sofa’s stated weight capacity is 240 kg, so in practice it is best regarded as suitable for two adults rather than three. Based on observations from our consultants, the use of pocket springs plus high-density foam helps prevent the “flat cushion” feel after months of regular use. The fabric and fillings meet BS5852 fire safety regulations; nevertheless, avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat and open flames and follow local guidelines for household fire safety.
In summary, this HOMCOM corduroy wide-seat loveseat is a strong option for two people seeking a compact yet comfortable seating solution. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, it suits living rooms, bedrooms or home offices where a touch of textured green upholstery and a supportive sit are priorities. Practical caution: follow the included manual for assembly (tools may be required) and treat spills promptly to preserve the polyester corduroy finish.
