HOMCOM Cosy Linen Accent Chair - Dark Green 83B-887V70DG | FastDaddyshop assessment
The HOMCOM Cosy Linen Accent Chair in Dark Green (item 83B-887V70DG) is a compact linen-look armchair engineered for everyday comfort and tidy living spaces. From the practical experience of our consultants, this removable-pillow linen armchair performs well as a living-room accent, a study chair or a snug bedroom seat: the spring seat cushion combines sponge and virgin cotton with a plush pillow to provide supportive lounging for reading or short rests. Measured dimensions (overall 68W x 75D x 84H cm) make it notably smaller than a standard two-seater sofa and ideal for corners where space is limited.
Key comfort figures you should note: the seat cushion thickness is 15.5 cm and the back cushion thickness is 14.5 cm, with a usable seat platform of 51.5W x 51D x 45H cm. Our consultants often recommend this model when a breathable polyester-linen finish is preferable to heavy leather — it feels cooler in warm rooms and is lower-maintenance than many velvet alternatives. The 16 cm leg height is a practical feature for modern homes: it gives ample clearance for most robot vacuum cleaners and makes floor cleaning simpler.
Construction and load-bearing: the internal frame is eucalyptus and the legs are rubberwood, giving a rated weight capacity of 120 kg — suitable for the majority of adult users but not designed for heavy commercial use. Based on observations from our consultants, the chair’s materials are fire-retardant; however, as a practical caution, fire-retardant is not the same as fireproof — keep the chair away from open flames and high heat sources. The removable pillow cover simplifies spot-cleaning routines; always follow the care label and test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first.
Assembly is straightforward and fast: the unit arrives with fittings and requires no screwdriver, and can typically be finished in around 10 minutes. In practice, this makes it an attractive option for renters and those who prefer minimal time setting up furniture. If you need a compact lounge chair with a modern piping trim and dark green finish that blends into most interiors, our store managers frequently suggest this HOMCOM accent chair as a balanced choice between comfort, style and practicality.
