HOMCOM Kitchen Island Cart, Wood Top, Grey 801-213V81GY

HOMCOM Kitchen Island Cart, Wood Top, Grey 801-213V81GY — rolling kitchen trolley and bar serving cart

This HOMCOM Kitchen Island Cart (model 801-213V81GY) is a compact, mobile prep station and bar serving cart with a varnished rubberwood top and a grey MDF body. At 67W x 37D x 85.5H cm it suits small to medium UK kitchens where a fixed island is impractical — our consultants often recommend this type of mobile kitchen trolley for flats, breakfast corners and occasional entertaining. The unit gives three deep drawers on the left for cutlery and utensils, two slatted shelves on the right for fruit, vegetables or linens, plus a removable tray that doubles as a serving platter when you’re hosting.

Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, note the practical limits: overall weight capacity is 40 kg and each shelf/drawer is rated to 3 kg — avoid overloading heavy appliances on the top work surface. Two of the four castors lock so the cart can be made stationary when in use. From the practical experience of our consultants, allow around 30–60 minutes for assembly by one person. Care tip: wipe the varnished wooden top clean and avoid placing hot pans directly on the surface — use a chopping board or trivet to protect the finish.
