HOMCOM Bamboo Kitchen Island Trolley – Grey/Natural 801-424V00GY offers a compact rolling island with a varnished bamboo top that’s warm, hardwearing and simple to wipe clean. Two drawers, sliding wire baskets, a slatted shelf and a glass-door cabinet provide organised, ventilated storage for utensils, produce and crockery. Lockable castors let you move then stabilise the trolley — FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it for small UK kitchens, flats and rented homes.
Compact, versatile and finished with a warm bamboo top, the HOMCOM Bamboo Kitchen Island Trolley (801-424V00GY) is designed for small UK kitchens, flats and rental properties where space and flexibility matter. At 67L x 35W x 80H cm, this rolling kitchen island provides a stable 67 x 35 cm worktop for meal prep, two utensil drawers, two sliding metal baskets for fruit and veg and a glass-fronted cabinet for crockery—so it functions as a kitchen cart, storage trolley and compact island in one.
Our consultants often recommend this model when customers need a portable solution that keeps everything organised without committing to a fixed island. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, the combination of MDF frame and a bamboo worktop gives a good balance between durability and a natural look, while remaining lighter and more economical than solid-wood islands. In practice, the three-level adjustable shelf and slatted shelf make it easy to store taller cereal boxes or bottles; the two castors with brakes keep the unit stable when in use and the two remaining wheels allow simple repositioning across typical kitchen flooring.
Practical cautions from our consultants: do not exceed the maximum recommended load of 24 kg in total and limit the worktop load to 5 kg (as per the specification). Avoid placing hot pans directly on the bamboo surface—use a trivet—and clean the bamboo with a damp cloth rather than soaking it. Assembly is required; based on observations from our consultants it’s easiest with two people and basic tools to ensure drawer runners and the glass door are aligned correctly.
For buyers searching for a rolling kitchen island, kitchen cart with bamboo top, or a compact kitchen trolley with glass-door storage, this HOMCOM model (801-424V00GY) is a practical, space-saving choice. If you require higher worktop weight capacity or a permanently fixed island, consider a solid-wood or metal-framed island instead; however, for flexibility, mobility and tidy storage in kitchens from 4–12 m², this unit from FastDaddyshop is frequently the recommended option.
