HOMCOM Kitchen Island with Drop Leaf & Storage - Grey/Oak 801-376V90GY

HOMCOM Kitchen Island with Drop Leaf & Storage - Grey/Oak 801-376V90GY | Rolling Kitchen Trolley

The HOMCOM Kitchen Island with Drop Leaf & Storage - Grey/Oak 801-376V90GY is a versatile rolling kitchen cart and preparation island that suits compact UK kitchens, studio flats and utility rooms. Featuring a fold-down drop-leaf tabletop that extends from 80W x 39D cm (folded) to 80W x 68D cm (unfolded), it provides instant additional worktop space without the footprint of a fixed island. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, this model strikes a useful balance between storage and mobility: the unit supports a total load of 50 kg and has a 15 kg top capacity, while the drawer (69W x 28D x 9H cm) and adjustable cabinet shelf help keep cookware and ingredients organised.

From the practical experience of our consultants, this kitchen trolley is preferable to permanent islands when you need flexibility — the four wheels (two with brakes) allow you to move or lock the unit safely, and the side spice rack (31W x 16D x 10H cm) and towel bar (16.5L x 11W cm) keep frequently used items to hand. Practical caution: avoid placing hot pans directly on the melamine-coated surface; use a trivet to protect the particleboard/MDF finish and do not exceed the stated load limits for each compartment (drawer 5 kg, shelf 5 kg, bottom 10 kg). Assembly is required and, in practice, tightening fixings as instructed will ensure the best stability and longevity.
