HOMCOM 5ft Hinged Fir Christmas Tree, 420 Tips Green 83C-307V00GN is a realistic, space-saving 150cm artificial fir with 420 hinged PVC tips that drop into place for fast, under‑15‑minute assembly. Flame‑retardant, pet‑friendly branch tips and a crossed steel fold-flat base give safer, stable display and easy storage for flats, conservatories or offices. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this model as a practical centrepiece for UK rooms up to 2.4m or as a secondary tree where quick setup and compact storage are priorities.
From the practical experience of our consultants at FastDaddyshop, the HOMCOM 5ft Hinged Fir Christmas Tree (model 83C-307V00GN) is a straightforward, family-friendly option for UK homes that need a realistic look without the fuss of a real tree. Standing 150 cm tall (5ft) with a canopy diameter of 85 cm (Φ85 x 150H cm) and 420 individual branch tips, this 420-tip artificial tree balances fullness with compactness — ideal for flats, smaller lounge spaces or as a secondary tree for kitchens and conservatories.
Our consultants often recommend this green hinged Xmas tree where quick setup and safe materials are priorities. The hinged trunk drops branches automatically for fast assembly; in practice most customers shape and decorate the tree in under 10–15 minutes. The crossed steel base (40 cm diameter) gives robust stability compared with lightweight tripod stands, and the fold-flat design helps reduce off-season storage volume.
Based on observations from our consultants, this 5ft hinged fir tree compares favourably to pre-lit alternatives when you want complete control over lights and decorations — it is lighter to store and cheaper to replace bulbs or upgrade to LED strings. If you need a more imposing centrepiece for high-ceiling rooms, consider a 6–7ft model instead; however, for most UK living rooms with 2.4 m ceilings or smaller, a 5ft (150 cm) tree like this offers the best balance of presence and clearance from ceilings.
Practical cautions: although the PVC tips are flame-retardant to help slow accidental ignition, they are not fireproof — keep decorative lights within their rated temperature range, avoid hot halogen bulbs and never place the tree closer than 30 cm to open flames or heated radiators. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, secure heavier ornaments nearer the trunk to retain balance, and keep edible decorations and tinsel away from pets despite the “pet-friendly” materials.
