HOMCOM C-Shaped Adjustable Side Table, Rustic Brown 83B-599V00RB slides neatly under sofas or beds and adjusts from 44.5–79 cm to provide a compact, ergonomic surface for laptops, drinks or reading. Its 40 × 30 cm melamine tabletop on a black metal frame gives an industrial look, wipes clean easily and supports up to 5 kg with non‑slip foot pads for stability. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it as a practical, space-saving table for small living rooms, bedrooms or studies — use a coaster for hot drinks to protect the particle board.
The HOMCOM C-shaped side table is a compact, practical option for small UK homes where space efficiency matters. Designed to slide neatly beneath a sofa or bed, the table’s adjustable height (44.5–79 cm) gives a tailored working or drinks surface whether you are seated low on a sofa or reclining in bed. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, this industrial-style piece — a rustic brown melamine tabletop with a black metal frame — is frequently selected as a versatile occasional table or laptop tray for rooms with limited floor space.
From the practical experience of our consultants, the 40 x 30 cm top is well suited to a typical 13–15 inch laptop (most laptops weigh 1.3–2.5 kg) and a cup of coffee, but note the maximum load is 5 kg. Our consultants often recommend avoiding heavy items such as large monitors or stacked books that exceed that limit. The melamine-coated surface is water-resistant and easy to wipe clean, though, based on observations from our consultants, prolonged exposure to heat or standing liquids at the join of the particle board can cause damage over time — use a coaster for hot drinks and avoid placing hot pans directly on the surface.
Compared with fixed-height end tables, the adjustable C-shape offers superior flexibility for mixed-use spaces; compared with heavier solid-wood occasional tables, it is lighter and easier to manoeuvre but has a lower maximum load. Non-slip foot pads protect floors and improve stability on wooden or tiled surfaces. In practice, FastDaddyshop managers recommend this model when you need a practical, space-saving occasional table with an industrial aesthetic and straightforward maintenance.
