HOMCOM 70L Collapsible Bamboo Laundry Hamper - Bamboo 850-017 is a 70‑litre, collapsible bamboo hamper with a removable, machine‑washable canvas liner and a triple‑handle design for easy carrying. Lightweight yet sturdy (2 kg; 15 kg capacity), its ventilated base reduces odours and the fold‑flat frame frees up space in small flats or laundry rooms. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this size for two–four person households and advise wiping the bamboo dry after use to preserve the finish.
This HOMCOM 70L collapsible bamboo laundry hamper (model 850-017) is a lightweight, space-saving solution for sorting and transporting laundry around the home. With an overall dimension of 40 x 30 x 60 cm and a 70-litre capacity, the basket holds a substantial load while weighing only 2 kg — ideal for homes where portability matters. From the practical experience of our consultants, the removable canvas lining and PU handles make it a better choice than many hard-sided bins when you need breathable storage that’s easy to carry to a washing machine.
Our consultants often recommend the 70L size for two to four people: it is more suitable than a 50L alternative when you frequently batch wash bedding or garments, yet less bulky than large 100L tubs for small flats. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, bamboo construction provides a natural look and better air circulation than plastic. However, take care not to expose the bamboo to prolonged moisture or direct heat to preserve its finish — the inside canvas lining is washable but the bamboo frame should be wiped dry.
Practical cautions from our team: do not overload beyond the stated weight capacity of 15 kg, avoid leaving the bamboo frame in damp conditions for extended periods, and machine-wash the removable inner bag according to its care label. For shoppers seeking alternative names, this item also appears as a collapsible clothes hamper, foldable laundry basket, bamboo laundry bin or 70-litre laundry organiser — all useful search terms when comparing similar products.
