HOMCOM 4kg Vented Tumble Dryer, Silver B61-016V70SR

HOMCOM 4kg Vented Tumble Dryer, Silver B61-016V70SR — 800W compact vented tumble dryer for small flats

The HOMCOM 4kg vented tumble dryer (model B61-016V70SR) is an 800W, silver-toned compact freestanding tumble dryer designed for small households and studio flats. With an overall footprint of 48W x 44D x 57H cm and a drum measuring Φ44 x 22H cm, it is specifically sized for limited spaces and light laundry loads: a maximum wet capacity of 4 kg (2.5 kg dry). From the practical experience of our consultants, this model is ideal for singles, couples or as a secondary dryer where space is at a premium.

Key operational figures you should note: the unit runs on AC 220–240V at 50/60Hz, draws 3.47 A and consumes 800W. It offers a hygienic 60°C high-heat cycle intended to reduce bacteria, but our store managers recommend using the sterilising programme selectively — frequent high-heat cycles can shorten the life of delicate fabrics. Noise is rated at ≤60 dB (similar to a normal conversation), and the appliance carries an IPX4 splash-resistant rating. Important practical caution: as a vented dryer it must be ducted to the outside using the included exhaust pipe — do not vent into loft spaces or internal rooms.

Features:

• Multiple timer and heat settings provide customised care for various fabrics
• Features 800W power and 4 kg capacity to quickly dry daily laundry
• 60°C high-heat drying effectively removes germs, protecting your family's health
• Smart reverse tumbling leaves clothes fluffy, soft, and wonderfully wrinkle-free
• Intuitive touchscreen and hidden handle ensure simple operation for everyone
• Flexible installation options include freestanding, stacked, or wall-mounted to fit your space
• Auto-stop safety feature provides long-lasting, secure use

How this compares to other dryer types: as a vented dryer the HOMCOM is typically cheaper to buy and quicker to heat up than condenser or heat-pump models, but it is less energy-efficient (Energy Efficiency Class: G). Based on observations from our consultants, a vented 4 kg unit like this is preferable for householders who value low purchase cost, small size and fast cycles — whereas those seeking lower running costs long-term or larger capacity should consider condenser or heat-pump alternatives. Our consultants often recommend limiting runs to full but not overloaded loads (close to the 2.5 kg dry limit) to maximise efficiency and fabric care.

Practical installation and safety notes from FastDaddyshop store managers: the package includes an exhaust pipe and a wall mounting kit, but if you intend to wall-mount or stack the dryer, ensure the supporting surfaces are rated for the combined weight and that installation follows local building and electrical regulations. When stacking on a washing machine check compatibility and secure mounting. Always route the 1.5 m power cord to a suitably rated 13 A supply and ensure the vent terminates outdoors. The appliance’s auto-stop safety feature helps prevent overheating, yet it’s good practice to supervise initial cycles and avoid running unattended in poorly ventilated areas.
