HOMCOM Foldaway Desk & 4-Tier Shelf - Natural 836-668V01ND is a space‑saving 2‑in‑1 workstation that folds from a slim 30 cm shelf unit into a generous 105 x 60 cm desk with an 80 x 56.8 cm work surface. Four tiers provide display and concealed storage, while a powder‑coated steel frame, E1‑grade panels and adjustable stabilisers deliver a stable, wipe‑clean workspace rated to 80 kg. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it as a practical centrepiece for rental flats, student rooms or compact home offices where permanent floor area is limited.
A practical, space-saving solution for small flats, student rooms or compact home offices, the HOMCOM Foldaway Desk & 4-Tier Shelf combines an integrated shelving unit with a foldable work surface. From the practical experience of our consultants at FastDaddyshop, this unit is particularly useful where floor space is at a premium: folded it is just 30 cm wide and stands 127 cm high, yet when opened it provides a generous footprint and useful storage. The build mixes particleboard panels with a powder-coated steel frame and a lightly protective melamine finish for easy cleaning; adjustable feet help keep the desk stable on uneven floors. Note that while the overall footprint measures 105W x 60D x 127H cm, the primary folding tabletop that you work on measures 80W x 56.8D cm — the larger 105 x 60 cm dimension describes the unit’s overall width and depth including shelving.
Our consultants often recommend this compact foldable desk and shelving unit as an alternative to a fixed desk: compared with a conventional 120 x 60 cm desk it consumes less permanent space and folds flat to 30 x 60 x 127 cm for unobtrusive storage. Based on observations from our store managers, it performs best as a single-user workstation (table height 76.5 cm) and for light display or storage on the two exposed upper shelves, while the two lower compartments keep documents or supplies concealed. Practical caution: the maximum load is 80 kg overall and 5 kg per layer — distribute weight evenly and avoid overloading individual shelves. Assembly is required; ensure all fixings are tightened and adjustable feet are set to prevent wobble.
