HOMCOM 114L Storage Bench Chest with Safety Lid, Grey Wood, 833-321V00GY combines a minimalist grey‑wood finish with a generous 114 litre interior and a 120 kg top load so it doubles as a sturdy bench or blanket box. The particleboard trunk has a soft‑close safety lid, 2 cm non‑slip feet to protect floors and an easy‑wipe surface for low‑maintenance use. Ideal for hallways, bedrooms or playrooms, FastDaddyshop consultants recommend even weight distribution and supervision around young children.

FastDaddyshop’s consultants recommend the HOMCOM 114L storage bench chest as a practical, value-led solution for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms. Measuring 100 x 40 x 40 cm externally (inner storage: 93 x 35 x 35 cm) and finished in a grey wood effect, this particleboard storage trunk combines a clean, contemporary look with useful capacity — approximately 114 litres — suitable for bedding, toys, shoes or out-of-season clothing.
Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, the robust construction is a key selling point: the lid supports up to 120 kg and the internal compartment up to 60 kg, so it functions well as a seating bench or footstool as well as a storage chest. In practice, the safety lid reduces the risk of accidental slamming and four plastic foot pads improve stability on hard floors. Compared with soft upholstered ottomans, this wood-effect storage chest is easier to wipe clean and offers a higher top-load capacity, though it is less moisture resistant than solid wood or metal trunks — avoid prolonged exposure to damp to prevent particleboard swelling.
Our consultants often recommend distributing heavy items evenly across the base and never exceeding the stated load limits. Assembly is required; based on observations from our consultants, allow about 20–30 minutes with basic tools. For households with young children, supervise lid use to avoid trapping fingers.
