HOMCOM 2-Drawer Bedside Table, Natural Wood Finish 831-897V00AK combines a ridged‑front aesthetic with gold‑tone handles and a compact 50 x 40 x 50 cm footprint for a stylish, space‑saving bedside solution. Two smooth‑running drawers (42 x 29 x 8.6 cm) and a flat top provide organised storage; metal legs and melamine‑coated MDF/particle board support a total of 40 kg (5 kg per drawer) and include anti‑tipping straps for added safety. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this for compact contemporary bedrooms and advise securing the straps and avoiding heavy equipment on the desktop to protect the runners.

Stylish yet practical, the HOMCOM 2-Drawer Bedside Table (Natural Wood Finish, item 831-897V00AK) combines a modern ridged-front design with functional storage for the bedroom or living room. The ridged drawer fronts and gold‑tone handles provide a decorative accent to the solid natural finish, while the flat tabletop and safe low‑rise walls help keep lamps, phones and bedside essentials secure. Complete with sturdy metal legs for strong support, this compact unit measures 50W x 40D x 50H cm and suits rooms where space is at a premium. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, we often recommend this HOMCOM nightstand (also described as a bedside cabinet, 2-drawer side table or compact bedside chest) where a clean, contemporary look is preferred over bulkier, fully wooden-legged options.
From the practical experience of our consultants: the anti‑tipping straps should be used and fixed to a wall, especially in homes with children or pets — the straps and the table’s 10 cm bottom clearance reduce the chance of accidental toppling. Note the specified load limits: the total weight capacity is 40 kg and each drawer is rated to 5 kg — avoid overloading drawers with heavy items (more than 5 kg) to preserve the runners and ensure smooth operation. In practice, if you need a bedside unit for heavier equipment (for example larger audio equipment or a heavy lamp), choose a model with a higher desktop rating; for everyday bedside storage of books, chargers and a bedside lamp, this HOMCOM unit is well suited.
Based on observations from our consultants, assembly is straightforward with the supplied manual, and the included foot pads help prevent light marks on laminate or hardwood floors. If you prefer a more traditional bedside cabinet with enclosed legs or higher clearance, consider alternatives with wooden legs; however, the metal legs on this HOMCOM model give a sleeker, more contemporary profile and generally greater robustness for everyday use.
