HOMCOM 3'6" Pumpkin Scarecrow Animatronic Purple/Black 844-850V00VT

HOMCOM 3'6" Pumpkin Scarecrow Animatronic Purple/Black 844-850V00VT — FastDaddyshop assessment

This HOMCOM 3'6" Pumpkin Scarecrow Animatronic (Purple/Black, item 844-850V00VT) is a compact, battery-powered Halloween prop engineered for fun jump scares. Standing 3'6" tall (45" / 114 cm) with an overall footprint of 106L x 20W x 114H cm when on its supportive base, the piece jolts its upper body side to side while glowing red eyes and a short circus tune create an unsettling atmosphere. Activated by touch or loud sound, the scarecrow is ideal as an animated pumpkin decoration for porches, hallways or indoor party displays where a compact footprint is required.

From the practical experience of our consultants, this model is best suited to locations where passers-by will come within a short range of the sensor. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, the 3 x AA battery operation (not included) offers placement flexibility compared with mains-powered animatronics, but run-time will depend on battery type and frequency of activations — in practice fresh alkaline AAs perform better and last longer than basic zinc‑carbon cells. The construction (steel frame, polyester costume, plastic components and raffia detailing) gives a convincing look while remaining lightweight and easy to move; however, as this is specified for indoor/outdoor use under cover, avoid exposing the unit to driving rain or sub-zero storage conditions to protect electronics and fabric.

Our consultants often recommend switching the unit off in noisy or windy environments, as the product has high sensitivity and false activations can occur. Cleaning and care are straightforward: wipe down plastic and polyester parts with a damp cloth and store indoors between seasons. Compared with full‑size animatronic props, this 3'6" pumpkin scarecrow is preferable when you need a strong visual impact without sacrificing porch space or requiring mains power.
