Made from E1 MDF with anti-tip stabilisers and rounded corners, it includes a bookshelf, three-tier shelf, cabinets and pen holder to keep worktops tidy. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it for 5–12 year‑olds wanting a safe, durable, space‑saving workstation.
This AIYAPLAY kids study desk and chair set with storage (Item Label: 312-164V00PK) is a purpose-built children’s workstation that brings study, reading and creative play into a single, organised corner. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, the combination of an adjustable tablet stand, pen holder, cork board and multiple storage compartments makes this pink and white set especially well suited to children who move between screen-based learning and traditional homework. Our consultants often recommend this set for households seeking a compact study solution that encourages tidy habits.
Construction is E1-grade MDF with a painted finish and anti-tip hardware, and the unit includes rounded corners for safety. In practice the desk tabletop measures 90L x 39W cm and the chair seat is 28.5L x 28.2W x 32H cm, so it is most comfortable for the recommended 5–12 years age range (the product standard age is 3+ years). Practical cautions from our managers: follow the assembly instructions carefully (assembly required), securely fit the anti-tip fixings to the wall where advised, and observe the stated maximum loads — 50 kg for the table and chair, 5 kg for the shelf and 20 kg for the cabinet — to avoid damage or instability.
From the practical experience of our consultants, this set compares favourably to basic children’s desks that lack storage — the integrated cubbies and cabinet reduce desktop clutter and are preferable for mixed-use study areas. If you need a smaller footprint or a toddler-specific table, consider lower-height alternatives for under-3s; however, for ages 5–12 this desk offers the best balance of storage, safety and tablet support. Practical tip: allow around 45–90 minutes for assembly depending on DIY experience, keep small fixings away from very young children, and clean the painted MDF with a damp cloth only to preserve the finish.
