PawHut 76cm Sisal Cat Scratching Post – Light Grey/Beige D30-997V00LG A thick 20 cm-diameter, 75.5 cm-high sisal-wrapped column on a 48 × 48 cm freestanding base gives cats a robust, long-lasting surface to sharpen claws and fully stretch, helping protect sofas and doorframes. Natural sisal resists wear and provides a satisfying texture, while the neutral light grey and beige finish blends with room décor. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this compact post for kittens and single cats up to 5 kg; check and tighten fixings periodically or add stabilisers for heavier pets.
Practical, compact and purpose-built for smaller cats and kittens, the PawHut 76cm sisal cat scratching post (item D30-997V00LG) offers a durable clawing surface without taking up much floor space. The central column measures 20 cm in diameter and rises to 75.5 cm, wrapped in natural sisal that withstands repeated use and supports healthy claw maintenance. From the practical experience of our consultants, this freestanding cat scratcher—with its 48 x 48 cm particleboard base (1.5 cm thick)—is best positioned in high-traffic zones such as entryways, lounges or balconies to redirect scratching away from sofas and doorframes.
Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, this model is particularly well suited to kittens and adult cats under 5 kg: its 75.5 cm height encourages a good stretch but is not as tall as 90–120 cm posts designed for larger breeds. If you have a Maine Coon or other large adult cat, we recommend a taller, heavier post or a wall-mounted scratcher for stability. In practice, the PawHut post balances footprint and function—easy to assemble (hardware and manual included) and finished in a neutral light grey and beige that complements most interiors. Practical caution: check and tighten fixings after assembly and periodically if the post is used heavily; heavier cats may tip a lightweight freestanding post, so consider extra anchoring for pets over 5 kg.
