Core Products Nairn 5 Drawer Narrow Chest of Drawers White NR517

Core Products Nairn 5 Drawer Narrow Chest of Drawers White NR517 Review

When seeking to maximise vertical storage without compromising on bedroom aesthetics, the Core Products Nairn 5-Drawer Narrow Chest of Drawers in white is an exceptional solution for space-conscious interiors. This slimline tallboy unit offers an elegant, Shaker-inspired silhouette that proves you do not need a sprawling footprint to maintain a luxurious, organised environment. Measuring 45cm in width and 114.2cm in height, it is specifically engineered to fit into alcoves or beside wardrobes where a standard chest would be too bulky.

From the practical experience of our consultants, the balance between its compact footprint and internal capacity is the standout feature. While the unit occupies a mere 40cm of depth, the five deep drawers provide substantial organisation for folded garments or accessories. The inclusion of metal runners ensures a smooth opening action, which is a significant upgrade over traditional wooden slide systems often found in budget-tier flat-pack furniture.

Features:

• Luxurious white painted finish
• Five spacious drawers with easy glide metal runners
• Inverted top moulding
• Gently rounded shaker style legs
• Fully finished drawer interiors
• Real metal Convex shaped handles
• Especially designed for easy home assembly
• Supplied with fully detailed assembly instructions

Our store product specialists highlight that the build quality is well-suited for light-to-medium domestic use, provided the unit is correctly anchored to the wall. The construction combines MDF and particle board to achieve a robust final weight of 29kg. While it is designed for a total weight tolerance of 20kg, users should ensure heavy items are placed in the lower drawers to maintain the stability of the unit's slim 45cm frame.

Regarding installation, this narrow white storage chest arrives flat-packed and requires approximately 60 minutes for assembly. We strongly advise having two people present to assist with the build to ensure the cam and dowel fixings are aligned correctly. As the unit stands 114.2cm tall, care should be taken during the final stages of assembly to ensure the unit is level; if your flooring is uneven, you may need a small shim under the rounded legs to prevent any slight wobbling.
