The Homcom 7+ Foldable Kick Scooter with Adjustable Height, Brake, Black is a robust, foldable kids’ scooter engineered for confident riders aged 7–14. Built on a metal frame that supports up to 100 kg, it offers a safer, longer-lasting alternative to many children’s scooters that are typically rated for 50–70 kg. Our consultants often recommend this model for families who need a compact, durable scooter for school runs, park rides and short commutes.
Key practical details you’ll want to know: the steering stem adjusts in three positions from 93 cm to 103 cm to suit rider heights of approximately 110–180 cm; the deck measures 52 x 15 cm for a stable stance; and the large 8" wheels with ABEC-7 bearings deliver a smoother roll compared with ABEC-5 alternatives. From the experience of our FastDaddyshop managers, the wide deck plus rear brake system makes balancing and stopping easier for developing riders. Folded dimensions are 76L x 15W x 31H cm, making it straightforward to store in a hallway or boot.
Safety and use notes from our team: this scooter is certified to EN 71-1-2-3 and EN 14619 and is recommended for ages 7+ (certificated age) and 7–14 years (recommended). Do not exceed the 100 kg weight capacity. Avoid riding on wet, icy or highly uneven surfaces (PU wheels perform best on dry concrete or tarmac). As a general precaution, do not ride on motorways or other high‑speed traffic routes.
