The HOMCOM Fluted 3-Drawer Dresser in Black (item 839-674V80BK) brings textured, contemporary styling to the bedroom or hallway with ridged drawer fronts, gold-coloured handles and slender metal legs. The 50W x 40D x 63H cm footprint suits smaller UK rooms where a full chest would dominate, while three drawers provide practical storage — each drawer measures 41.1W x 28.5D x 8.1H cm (≈9.5 litres capacity), so you can neatly store folded T‑shirts, underwear or accessories without overfilling. The unit is made from a durable MDF and particle board blend and includes anti‑tip straps and foot pads for safer, scratch‑free use; maximum rated loads are 30 kg total, 15 kg on the tabletop and 5 kg per drawer.
From the experience of FastDaddyshop managers, this fluted chest of drawers is a good compromise between style and budget: the MDF/particleboard construction tends to be more dimensionally stable indoors than cheaper single‑layer particleboard and costs considerably less than a solid wood alternative, while still resisting everyday wear in typical UK indoor conditions (room temperatures between c. 15–25°C and normal household humidity). Our consultants often recommend attaching the included anti‑tipping straps to wall studs and limiting items on the top to under 15 kg — for example, a small 32" TV (usually under 10–12 kg) is acceptable, but heavier electronics are better placed on a dedicated TV stand. Assembly is required; on practice, one person familiar with flatpack furniture can assemble it in roughly 30–45 minutes, or 20–30 minutes with two people.
