Practical and space-conscious, the HOMCOM 4-6 Extendable Folding Dining Table (Item Label: 83A-439V80ND) is designed for homes where flexibility matters. Starting at a compact 70 x 80 x 77.5 cm (folded) and extending to a full 140 x 80 x 77.5 cm, this rectangular drop‑leaf table seats four comfortably and expands to accommodate six. From the practical experience of our consultants, the internal hidden extension leaf is a useful detail for flats and shared houses because it stores neatly inside the frame, keeping the overall footprint tidy when not in use.
Made from particleboard with steel supports and a melamine-coated surface, the table combines a modern wood-grain finish with a lightweight, solid structure. Our consultants often recommend this model as a space-saving alternative to bulky fixed dining tables: it is easier to move (ideal where access through narrow hallways or staircases is required) and simpler to click into place for occasional entertaining. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, allow approximately 30–45 minutes for assembly and consider two people for safe handling when installing the extension leaf.
Practical cautions: the table’s weight capacity is 30 kg, so avoid placing very heavy centrepieces, cast-iron cookware or multiple laden dishes exceeding that total on the surface. Also take care when placing very hot pans directly on the melamine finish — use trivets to protect the surface. In practice, this table is best suited to everyday dining, homework and remote-work tasks rather than heavy-duty kitchen use or commercial catering.
