HOMCOM Foldable Extendable Dining Table - Grey Wood Effect 83A-615V00GW

HOMCOM Foldable Extendable Dining Table - Grey Wood Effect 83A-615V00GW — Compact extendable dining table for small kitchens

The HOMCOM Foldable Extendable Dining Table (Grey Wood Effect, model 83A-615V00GW) is a space-saving, practical solution for UK kitchens and apartments. Driven by smooth steel rails, the tabletop converts from a 70 cm square for everyday use into a 140 cm dining surface that comfortably seats four guests. From the practical experience of our consultants, the hidden under-table storage cubby is a valuable extra for keeping tableware and placemats tidy but within reach, while the melamine-coated particleboard surface resists everyday spills and scratches and is easy to wipe clean.

Compared with a fixed 120–140 cm dining table, this folding, extendable kitchen table occupies a much smaller footprint when folded (70 cm x 70 cm tabletop) and is easier to site against a wall to save floor space in compact living rooms or studio flats. Our consultants often recommend this option where flexibility matters — it supports up to 80 kg overall but note the folded board capacity is limited to 5 kg, so avoid placing heavy objects on a folded leaf. In practice, we also advise using trivets for hot pans and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture to protect the particleboard finish. Based on observations from our managers, the non-slip felt pads help protect laminate or wooden floors during small adjustments.
