Ideal for narrow hallways or above‑sofa storage — wipe‑clean finish; FastDaddyshop consultants recommend fixing to a stud or solid wall with the supplied fixings.
This slim wall-mounted storage shelf from HOMCOM (item 838-638V01WT) is a practical floating shelf with drawers designed to reclaim floor space in compact UK homes. Measuring 93W x 15D x 10H cm, the painted MDF unit suits narrow hallways, small kitchens or above-Sofa storage where a shallow profile is essential. From the practical experience of our consultants, the combination of a 5 kg top board capacity and 4 kg per drawer (8 kg total) makes it ideal for lightweight daily essentials: keys, post, sunglasses and a slim wallet — not for heavy kettles or boxed equipment.
Based on observations from our consultants, the shelf’s modern white finish with black alloy handles blends easily into contemporary décor and is a neater alternative to a freestanding hall table when floor metres are at a premium. FastDaddyshop store managers often recommend fixing the unit to a solid wall or studwork using the included three wall fixing kits and following the supplied manual; this improves safety and keeps the drawers aligned thanks to the built-in drawer stops. Practical caution: painted MDF wipes clean but is not a waterproof surface — avoid prolonged exposure to very humid environments and do not overload (see specification for exact load limits).
