HOMCOM Slim Wall Storage Shelf with Drawers, Black - 838-638V01BK is a floating 93 x 15 x 10 cm organiser that reclaims precious floor space in narrow hallways and kitchens while concealing everyday clutter in its drawers. Crafted from painted E1 MDF with alloy handles, built‑in drawer stops and three wall anchors, it supports 8 kg total (5 kg top, 4 kg per drawer) and wipes clean easily for high‑traffic zones. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend fixing to masonry or using suitable plasterboard anchors and distributing weight evenly for safe, reliable use.
FastDaddyshop’s consultants present a concise, expert-curated review of the HOMCOM Slim Wall Storage Shelf with Drawers, Black (item 838-638V01BK). At 93W x 15D x 10H cm this slim, wall-mounted shelf is designed to reclaim floor space in narrow hallways, kitchens and living rooms while providing organised storage for keys, post, phones and other daily essentials. The painted MDF construction with alloy handles gives a clean, modern black finish that wipes clean easily — useful in high-traffic zones where dust and fingerprints build up.
From the practical experience of our consultants, this floating shelf is preferable to a small console table when floor space is limited: it keeps a clear walking area and stores items behind drawers for a neater entryway. Compared with a full-depth wall cabinet, its 15 cm depth remains unobtrusive in tight corridors. Note the load ratings: the unit carries 8 kg total, with up to 5 kg on the top board and 4 kg per drawer — our managers often recommend distributing weight evenly and avoiding concentrated heavy items (for example, do not place an 8 kg object on the top board alone). Assembly is required and three wall fixing kits are supplied; based on observations from our consultants, fit to a solid masonry wall where possible and use appropriate plasterboard anchors if fixing to stud walls to meet the stated weight capacities safely.
