HOMCOM 2x30L Double Pedal Kitchen Bin, High Gloss Black 851-090V01BK is a 60‑litre dual‑compartment pedal bin with two removable 30 L inner buckets that make separating recycling from general waste instant and cut down on frequent emptying. Hands‑free foot pedals, soft‑close lids with a stay‑open function and a built‑in deodoriser minimise touch and odour, while the 410 stainless‑steel oil‑sealed finish resists rust and fingerprints and fits neatly beneath standard 900 mm worktops. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend this as a durable, low‑maintenance solution for busy UK households wanting efficient, hygienic waste sorting.

The HOMCOM 2 x 30L Double Kitchen Bin in High Gloss Black (model 851-090V01BK) is a dual-compartment stainless steel pedal rubbish bin engineered for everyday kitchen recycling and general waste separation. With two removable 30-litre buckets (60 L total), soft-close lids, stay-open convenience and a built-in deodoriser compartment, this unit is designed to streamline routines while reducing hand contact and odour. From the practical experience of our consultants, the 2 x 30 L capacity suits busy households that need clear recycling separation without sacrificing floor space — typically two to four people in the UK.
Our consultants often recommend a double compartment solution such as this over a single 60 L bin when you want instant separation of recyclables and general waste: it avoids bag cross-contamination and makes weekly refuse collection easier. At 52.5 cm long x 38 cm wide x 66.5 cm high, the bin fits neatly beneath most standard 900 mm kitchen worktops with room to spare. The 410 stainless steel body has an oil-sealed finish that resists rust and fingerprints; based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, cleaning with a soft cloth and mild detergent preserves the high-gloss surface best — avoid abrasive scourers to prevent scratches.
Practical cautions: check your available cabinet opening before replacing existing units — the internal opening is 48 cm x 27.5 cm — and ensure you have liners sized for 30 L buckets. In practice, the stay-open lids are useful when changing liners or doing larger tidy-ups, while the soft-close mechanism reduces slamming in open-plan kitchens. Also note the bin’s weight capacity is designed for household waste; avoid overloading to prevent pedal mechanism strain.
