HOMCOM 4.7ft Animated Hanging Mummy Grey 844-690V00GY is a life-size, touch- and sound-activated hanging mummy that twists, howls and glares with red LED eyes while warm white body lighting adds depth — an effective, compact doorway centrepiece. Battery-powered (3 x AA) and 142 cm high, its bendable arms and steel frame let you pose and site it on covered porches or indoor hallways where mains power isn’t available. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend hanging under eaves, switching off in windy or noisy conditions and removing batteries for long storage.
From the practical experience of our consultants at FastDaddyshop, this HOMCOM 4.7ft animated hanging mummy (item 844-690V00GY) is a compact, effective choice for creating a spine‑tingling welcome on Halloween night. At 142 cm tall (approx. 4.7 ft) with overall dimensions 43L x 21W x 142H cm, the prop is classed as life‑size and hangs neatly from porches, covered patios or indoor hallways. It combines motion, light and sound — red LED eyes, warm white body lighting and a howling audio effect — to deliver a more convincing scare than a static hanging decoration.
Based on observations from our consultants, the animated hanging mummy outperforms many battery‑operated static props because it actively senses approaching trick‑or‑treaters and twists its body, making the moment far more memorable. Powered by 3 x AA batteries (not included) and rated at 1.32 W, it is energy‑efficient and easy to site where mains power isn’t available. Our consultants often recommend hanging it under eaves or in covered entrances rather than exposed locations: the unit is suitable for indoor and covered outdoor use only and has high sensor sensitivity — switch it off in windy or noisy conditions to avoid false activations.
In practice, the mummy’s bendable arms and steel framework (material: polyester synthetic fibre, PE, steel) make it simple to pose for the best effect. Compared with larger floor props, the 142 cm height makes this model preferable where vertical space is limited: it creates a clear focal point at doorway level without obstructing walkways. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, we also advise removing batteries when storing the prop for long periods to prevent corrosion and prolong service life.
