This HOMCOM 77cm animated Halloween scarecrow is a motion-activated Halloween prop that delivers an immediate fright with minimal fuss. At 77 cm tall (60L x 26W x 77H cm when the support feet are fully extended) it is compact enough for porches, hallways and window displays yet large enough to startle trick‑or‑treaters. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, we often recommend positioning the unit under a covered doorway or porch rather than in exposed locations — the unit is suitable for indoor and covered outdoor use only.
The scarecrow’s red light-up eyes and sound-activated mechanism produce a creepy laugh and movement when touched or when a loud noise is detected. Arms are bendable so you can pose it for a subtle or dramatic effect. It runs on 3 x AA batteries (not included); our consultants often recommend fresh alkaline cells for consistent operation. Power consumption is low at 0.12 W. From the practical experience of our consultants, be aware the product is highly sensitive: turn it off in noisy or windy surroundings to avoid false triggers and to prolong battery life. Also note the stated 77 cm height is reached only when the support feet are fully extended.
