HOMCOM 200cm Double Sliding Barn Door Kit, Black B81-028. A heavy-duty 200cm double-track barn door system that converts conventional openings into smooth, space-saving bi‑parting sliders. Carbon steel rail and industrial rollers support up to 90 kg, suit two wooden panels up to 100 cm wide and 35–40 mm thick, and feature anti‑jump discs, stoppers and floor guides for stable operation. FastDaddyshop consultants advise confirming header strength, allowing the 14 cm clearance above the door and trial‑fitting with a spirit level.
The HOMCOM 6.6FT/200cm sliding barn door hardware track kit is a robust, industrial-style solution for converting conventional hinged doors into space-saving sliding doors. Sold by FastDaddyshop, this double sliding door kit uses carbon steel construction to deliver a maximum weight capacity of 90 kg and two 100 cm track sections (total 200 cm / 6.6 ft). From the practical experience of our consultants, it is particularly well suited to wardrobes, room dividers and en-suite entrances where a modern black barn door track kit is preferred for aesthetics as well as function. Door panels are not included — allow a minimum of 14 cm clearance above the door for the fittings.
Based on our managers’ experience, this double-track configuration (also described as a double sliding door kit or bi-parting door track) is preferable when you need two doors to meet in the middle — each door may be up to 100 cm wide and 35–40 mm thick. In practice, always check that the wall or header rail will bear the combined load; for masonry use appropriate wall anchors, and for plasterboard fixings insist on timber noggins or a reinforced header. The included floor guides and door stoppers reduce lateral movement and wear — important when handling heavier panels close to the stated 90 kg limit.
Practical cautions from FastDaddyshop: measure twice before cutting or fitting, confirm door thickness (35–40 mm) and panel width (max 100 cm per door), and reserve the advised 14 cm clearance above the door. Our consultants often recommend trial-fitting the rail and using a spirit level to ensure smooth, quiet operation of the industrial wheels on this heavy duty sliding door rail.
