PawHut Rattan Ball Cat Bed - Natural D30-245ND is a hand‑woven PE rattan, elevated spherical bed with a perforated weave and tripod metal base that promotes airflow and stability for relaxed naps. At 58cm high × Ø52cm with a Ø38cm entrance and a Ø39cm cushion, it provides a roomy, ventilated retreat for small cats and kittens and is rated to 10kg. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it for single small breeds (under 5kg); choose a wider, lower design for heavier or multi‑cat households.
At FastDaddyshop our consultants often recommend the PawHut Rattan Ball Cat Bed - Natural (D30-245ND) for owners of small breeds and kittens who want a stylish, ventilated retreat. Hand‑woven from durable PE rattan, the spherical, elevated design (58 cm high × Ø52 cm) gives cats a roomy internal space with a large 38 cm diameter entrance and a soft Ø39 cm cushion for restful naps. The basket’s perforated weave and raised tripod base promote airflow to keep pets cool and cosy; in practice that makes this rattan cat house preferable in warmer rooms compared with fully enclosed textile beds.
From the practical experience of our consultants, this ball‑shaped pet furniture — also described by customers as a wicker cat basket or elevated kitten bed — suits single small cats or kittens (recommended for cats under than 5kg). Note the structure is rated to carry up to 10kg, which indicates good build strength, but the interior size and 38 cm doorway make it less comfortable for larger adults or heavy breeds. Based on our managers’ experience, if your cat regularly exceeds 5 kg or shares with another cat, a wider, lower‑profile bed with a larger entrance will be more suitable.
Practical cautions: the cushion is described as removable yet cannot be washed, so we advise using a thin, washable throw or a replaceable pad to protect the polyester/PP cotton fill and to spot‑clean the rattan with a damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct heat or very damp conditions to preserve PE rattan and metal legs. For owners seeking a similar aesthetic, consider other wicker or synthetic rattan cat domes if you need a washable inner liner or a lower centre of gravity for active, heavier cats.
