PawHut 81cm Cat Scratching Post - Green & Red D30-984V00GN offers double‑sided 1300 GSM sisal panels (12 x 75.5 cm each) to create a long, defined scratch zone that supports natural claw maintenance and full‑body stretching. Its 41 x 41 cm stabilised base and 81 cm height make it freestanding and steady for hallways, lounges or balconies. The festive green and red finish with a hanging gourd‑leaf bell adds playful engagement and giftable décor. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it for single indoor cats up to 5 kg; choose a taller, wider base for heavier or more vigorous breeds.
Compact, festive and practical, the PawHut 81cm Cat Scratching Post (D30-984V00GN) is a sisal cat scratcher designed for indoor use and small to medium domestic cats. From the practical experience of our consultants, the double-sided 1300 GSM sisal delivers a firm, long-lasting surface that encourages scratching on the post rather than sofas or curtains. At 81 cm high with a 41 x 41 cm stable base, it provides a secure stretching height for cats and is best suited to single cats or those under 5 kg — our store managers often recommend larger, heavier bases for more vigorous or heavier breeds such as Maine Coon or Ragdoll.
Based on observations from our consultants, this model compares favourably with carpet-wrapped posts because sisal better withstands repeated clawing and helps natural claw-shedding. However, if your cat regularly exceeds 5 kg or routinely jumps from high furniture, consider a taller scratching tower with a broader footprint — in practice this reduces the risk of tipping. Assembly is required; the pack includes a manual and straightforward fixings, but we advise fitting on a flat surface and checking all screws after seven days of use. FastDaddyshop store managers also note the seasonal green and red finish makes it a popular gift item during winter months.
