FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it for spaniels and similar breeds; always secure the crate and never leave pets unattended.
Struggling to fit a standard rectangular kennel into a cramped car boot? The PawHut 35" (90 cm) slanted car dog crate D02-277V00BK is designed specifically for that problem. The angled profile hugs the contours of most estate and hatchback boots so you can maximise usable space without compromising your dog’s comfort. From the practical experience of our consultants at FastDaddyshop, the slanted shape often allows an extra seat or luggage to remain usable where a conventional box-style crate would not.
This collapsible dog travel cage folds flat to 90 x 58 x 17 cm for storage and comes with a removable PP tray (89 x 55 x 2.5 cm) for fast cleaning after muddy walks. The door (43.5 x 38 cm) gives easy access for medium to large dogs and the 3.5 cm bar spacing keeps paws safe while maintaining good ventilation. Based on observations from our consultants, the powder-coated steel wire construction and secure latch lock make this a robust choice for dogs up to 30 kg and a body length of 60 cm — check both your dog’s body length (nose to base of tail) and the boot measurements before buying.
In practice, this slanted boot crate is preferable to a standard rectangular crate when you need a better fit in tapered or shallow boots. Our consultants often recommend this model for owners of cocker spaniels, springer spaniels or similar medium-sized breeds. For larger breeds over 60 cm body length or over 30 kg, choose a larger full-height travel kennel instead to ensure the animal can stand and turn comfortably. Practical caution: secure the crate in the boot with straps or a non-slip mat during travel and never leave a dog unattended in a vehicle — ventilation and ambient temperature management are crucial, particularly in warm weather.
Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, the PawHut 90 cm slanted car dog crate is a practical, space-saving option for medium-large dogs and owners who prioritise easy cleaning and compact storage. Ensure you measure both your pet and vehicle before purchase — this avoids the most common mismatch issues our consultants see in-store.
