PawHut Dog Car Seat Hammock, Waterproof, Blue D00-259V00BU is a reinforced, waterproof back-seat hammock with an expandable PP board that converts the rear bench into a stable, scratch-resistant platform ideal for medium and large dogs. Ultra-dense cat-scratch fabric resists claws and mud, a 33 x 40 cm mesh window improves airflow and reduces separation anxiety, and two roomy pockets keep leads and treats to hand. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend measuring your rear seat for fit and always using a crash-tested harness, as the hammock is a protector not a restraint.
The PawHut Dog Car Seat Hammock, Waterproof, Blue D00-259V00BU is a reinforced back-seat hammock and waterproof pet seat protector designed to keep journeys cleaner, calmer and safer for both dog and driver. Combining a sturdy PP board insert with a cat-scratch, splashproof outer fabric, this 148 x 130 x 1.5 cm cover gives more room and resistance against claws and mud than many thin polyester liners. From the practical experience of our consultants, the integrated 33 x 40 cm mesh window noticeably improves airflow and reduces travel anxiety by letting your pet see you without leaving the rear compartment.
Our consultants often recommend measuring your vehicle’s rear seat before purchase — the overall dimension is 148L x 130W x 1.5H cm — so you can check fit in hatchbacks, estates or SUVs. In practice this hammock suits medium to larger dogs better than compact single-seat protectors because the extended PP board adds lateral stability. Based on observations from our consultants, compared with a basic throw-over cover the PawHut design with six adjustable straps and a nonslip base stays in place far longer on bumpy roads.
For upkeep: the cat-scratch fabric is tear-resistant and easy-clean — wipe down or hose off mud and hair; allow to air dry. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, avoid using the hammock as a restraint — it is not a crash-tested harness. Always use a suitable vehicle dog restraint or harness and follow your car manufacturer’s guidance on seatbelt and airbag safety when fitting accessories.
