Core Products Erin Narrow 5 Drawer Chest of Drawers in White ER517: Expert Analysis

Maximising storage in compact bedrooms requires a disciplined approach to furniture selection. The Core Products Erin Narrow 5-Drawer Chest (ER517) stands out as a highly efficient white tallboy unit, specifically engineered for floorplans where width is at a premium. With an assembled width of just 40.8cm, it serves as an excellent space-saving bedroom cabinet, offering vertical storage that effectively eliminates clutter without encroaching on circulation space.

In practice, this narrow chest of drawers excels where wider units would be obstructive. Compared to traditional wide-set chests, the Erin 5-drawer unit is significantly more suitable for small hallways or tight nooks between wardrobes and walls. Our store product specialists highlight that the 107.3cm height provides a comfortable reach for daily essentials, while the pristine white foiled finish provides a clean, contemporary aesthetic that brightens smaller rooms.

The construction utilises high-quality MDF for the drawer fronts, sides, and bases, ensuring a robust structure. While assembly requires two people and approximately 55 minutes, the process is straightforward with a screwdriver and mallet. Please note: as a flat-pack item, ensure you assemble the unit on a soft surface to avoid scuffing the white foiled finish, as the high-gloss aesthetic is susceptible to surface marks if handled roughly during construction.
