Core Products Henley 1 Drawer Bedside Cabinet in Oak-Effect HN508

Core Products Henley 1 Drawer Bedside Cabinet in Oak-Effect HN508 Review

The Henley One-Drawer Bedside Cabinet by Core Products is a masterclass in versatile bedroom storage, blending an inviting golden light oak-effect finish with a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Whether you are furnishing a traditional country-style bedroom or a minimalist modern apartment, this compact nightstand offers the perfect balance of form and function. The warm, wood-grain texture is complemented by a sophisticated gold-colour metal knob, elevating the piece beyond standard flat-pack bedroom furniture.

When considering this bedside unit against larger three-drawer alternatives, our consultants often recommend the Henley HN508 for those with limited floor space who still require essential storage. While a three-drawer chest offers more volume, this single-drawer model provides a more streamlined, uncluttered look that prevents smaller bedrooms from feeling cramped. Based on observations from our consultants, the 36cm width makes this piece an ideal candidate for tight alcoves or narrow spaces beside a bed where standard 45cm-wide units might obstruct door openings or wardrobe access.

Engineering notes from our product team show that the construction utilises high-quality manufactured board with a 15mm MDF drawer front, ensuring a sturdy profile despite the lightweight 7.5kg total weight. While the assembly is straightforward, we advise that you use a manual screwdriver rather than a power drill to avoid stripping the pre-drilled holes in the manufactured wood, ensuring the longevity of the frame.
