Core Products Kelly Wall Mounted Bedside Tables Grey Oak KL02-GOK: An Expert Review
For those looking to maximise floor space without compromising on modern aesthetics, the Core Products Kelly Wall Mounted Bedside Tables in Grey Oak (KL02-GOK) offer a refined solution. These floating bedside cabinets are specifically designed for contemporary bedrooms where space is at a premium. Unlike traditional floor-standing pedestals, which can make a room feel cluttered, these wall-hung nightstands create an airy, open feel by lifting the storage off the ground.
Our consultants often recommend this specific model for compact apartments or guest rooms, as the 30cm width ensures they remain unobtrusive whilst providing essential storage. The grey oak effect finish provides a sophisticated, neutral palette that blends seamlessly with various interior design themes, from Scandi-minimalism to industrial chic. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, these units are significantly more practical than standard side tables in small bedrooms, as the wall-mounting feature allows you to install them at the exact height of your mattress, preventing the common issue of misaligned bedside storage.
Practical Caution: Before installation, ensure your wall type is suitable for supporting the 8kg weight of these units. We strongly recommend using high-quality wall fixings appropriate for your specific masonry or plasterboard structure to ensure long-term stability.

When comparing these floating bedside shelves to larger, floor-based storage units, the KL02-GOK series is the superior choice for users prioritising floor clearance. While heavier, solid-wood chests provide more drawer storage, they lack the versatility of this compact, wall-mounted arrangement. In practice, the open-cube configuration is far more accessible for keeping essential items like a book or a morning cup of tea within arm's reach.
