FastDaddyshop’s expert-curated review: the HOMCOM 1.7L 3000W Variable Temperature Electric Kettle (model 800-360V70BK) is a high‑power, precision kettle designed for households and busy kitchens that need speed without sacrificing control. With six selectable temperatures from 55 °C to 100 °C, a clear LED touch display and a three‑hour keep‑warm function, this adjustable temperature kettle (also listed as a variable-temperature electric kettle, 3000W fast boil kettle or HOMCOM 1.7 litre black kettle) suits tea aficionados, coffee lovers and families alike. In practice this 3,000 W element brings 1.7 litres to the boil in about 4 minutes 30 seconds — noticeably quicker than many lower‑wattage kettles — while the double‑wall anti‑scald construction and boil‑dry safety offer added peace of mind in busy homes. Our consultants often recommend this model for flats, family kitchens and small offices where fast boiling and temperature accuracy matter.
Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, this HOMCOM kettle is preferable to many basic on/off models when you need tailored temperatures for milk (to avoid scalding), delicate green teas (around 70–80 °C) or robust black teas and coffee (near 100 °C). From the practical experience of our consultants, the stainless steel interior combined with the removable limescale filter keeps taste clean and maintenance straightforward — descale regularly if you have hard water. Expert warning: although the double‑wall design reduces surface heat, always supervise children and avoid touching the spout area immediately after boiling. Also, ensure you use it only on the specified 220–240V mains supply and never immerse the base in water; unplug before cleaning.
