HOMCOM 5ft Hinged Fir Christmas Tree, 490 Tips - Green 83C-303V00GN is a lifelike 5 ft hinged fir with 490 branch tips and mixed PE/PVC/pine‑needle foliage for a dense, ready‑to‑decorate centrepiece. Pre‑attached hinged branches and a 2‑section trunk mean assembly and shaping take just 15–25 minutes; the foldaway metal base stabilises the tree and eases storage. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend it for flats, conservatories and living rooms where you want a full, realistic tree without excessive height.
This HOMCOM 5ft Hinged Fir Christmas Tree (item 83C-303V00GN) is a compact, lifelike option for UK homes seeking a full appearance without the height of larger trees. With 490 branch tips, mixed PE, PVC and pine-needle foliage and 51 white berries plus 51 large berry ornaments, it delivers a dense silhouette and seasonal colour straight out of the box. The 2‑section hinged trunk features pre-attached, auto‑expand branches for quick setup — shaping takes about 15–25 minutes — and the foldable metal base (base diameter 35 cm) gives firm stability while allowing compact off‑season storage.
From the practical experience of our consultants at FastDaddyshop, this 150 cm (Φ88 x 150H cm) tree is ideal for living rooms, conservatories or flats where ceiling height or room footprint rules out taller 7 ft trees. Compared with slimmer 3 ft novelty trees, the 5ft hinged fir balances presence and space efficiency: it’s noticeably fuller than most 3 ft models thanks to the 490 tips, yet less imposing than larger 6–7 ft alternatives. Based on our managers’ experience, customers who want a realistic look without the effort of individual branch assembly prefer hinged designs like this one because the pre-attached branches speed up decorating and reduce setup time.
Practical cautions: although the branch tips are fire‑retardant, avoid placing the tree next to direct heat sources such as radiators, open fires or electric heaters and keep it away from naked flames. When unpacking, allow the branches to fully expand and spread each individual tip to achieve the best appearance (see the shaping note in the specification). Heavy decorations should be distributed evenly to prevent sagging of lower branches.
