The HOMCOM 4-Panel Folding Room Divider with Shelves, White 830-813V00WT is a lightweight freestanding privacy screen that blends practical partitioning with decorative appeal. At 160 x 170 cm (W x H) when open and folding down to 40 x 170 cm, it is well suited to create a private corner in a living room, bedroom or home office without permanent installation. The pine wood frame and paper fibre diamond weave give a refined, airy finish that admits light and airflow while screening off space — a useful alternative to solid-panel dividers for smaller or darker rooms. From the practical experience of our consultants, the two integrated shelves (140 x 20 cm) are best used for lightweight items — photographs, a small plant or decorative objects — and must not exceed the specified 5 kg per shelf capacity.
Based on observations from our consultants, this folding screen is a better choice than heavy, fixed room partitions when flexibility and occasional rearrangement are priorities. Our consultants often recommend placing the divider on a level, dry floor and keeping the foot height (7 cm) clear of rugs that could impede folding. Practical caution: the paper fibre is not waterproof, so avoid placing the screen in humid or high‑temperature environments; do not exceed the 5 kg shelf weight limit and avoid sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.
