Core Products 120cm Kitchen Table and 2 Bench Dining Set Grey CRGTBSET31 Review

The Core Products Corona Grey 120cm dining set offers a sophisticated blend of Scandi-inspired minimalism and traditional rustic charm, making it a versatile choice for modern British homes. Crafted from high-quality, responsibly sourced pine, this three-piece set—comprising a spacious dining table and two coordinating benches—is designed to anchor a contemporary kitchen or breakfast nook. The grey-washed frame contrasts beautifully against the warm, antique-waxed tabletop, which highlights the natural grain of the wood.

Our consultants often recommend this set for smaller dining areas or open-plan living spaces. When compared to traditional chair-based sets, this bench-style configuration is significantly more space-efficient; the benches can be tucked neatly under the 120cm x 80cm tabletop when not in use, creating a streamlined footprint. Based on observations from our consultants, the braced angled legs provide superior structural integrity compared to standard straight-leg designs, ensuring the unit remains stable even under the weight of a busy family kitchen.

Technical Note: While this set is exceptionally robust, with a weight tolerance of 240kg, ensure the floor is level during assembly. The unit arrives flat-packed and requires a screwdriver for completion. Given the natural pine construction, we advise using coasters to prevent moisture rings, as the antique wax finish on the tabletop is designed for breathability and aesthetic depth rather than chemical heat resistance.
