SPORTNOW Pop-Up Twin Football Goals - Black/Yellow A62-054V01YL is a portable twin pop‑up set that opens in seconds and folds flat into the supplied Oxford carry bag for easy garden training and kickabouts. Fibreglass poles and powder‑coated steel support plus polyester netting give a balance of flexibility and durability; eight U‑shaped ground stakes secure the 150×110×110cm goals on grass. Ideal for youth coaching and small‑sided games, FastDaddyshop consultants advise always using the stakes and avoiding hard surfaces or strong winds.
The SPORTNOW Pop-Up Twin Football Goals (Black/Yellow, item A62-054V01YL) are a practical pair of portable football goals designed for garden training, park kickabouts and youth practice sessions. From the practical experience of our consultants, these pop-up goals are best suited to casual and mid-level training where ease of use and portability matter more than permanent, heavy-duty fixtures. Each goal measures 150W x 110D x 110H cm, so they work well for children (recommended age 5+) and for adults practising drills or small-sided games. Our consultants often recommend this twin set for families who want two marked targets for shooting drills or for organising 3v3/4v4 games without complex setup.
In practice, the combination of fibreglass poles and metal tubes gives a balance between flexibility and structural support: fibreglass resists snapping under impact while metal elements provide daily reliability. The polyester net and oxford edging are specified for regular training, and the kit includes eight U-shaped ground stakes to secure the goals on grass — important on soft lawns after rain. Based on observations from our consultants, these pop-up goals fold flat into the supplied carry bag (142L x 116W cm) in seconds, making them a preferred alternative to bulky steel-frame goals when you need quick assembly and a compact carry solution.
How it compares: compared with rigid steel-frame goals or permanent posts, the SPORTNOW pop-up twin set scores higher for portability, setup time and storage space. For club or heavy-duty adult training where permanent stability and heavy impacts are routine, a welded steel goal would be preferable. For backyard sessions, youth coaching and holiday trips, these folding football nets and portable goals provide the better balance of convenience and performance. Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, always use the supplied U-stakes on grass and avoid use on hard surfaces without suitable protection — and consider extra weighting or stronger anchoring in very gusty conditions.
