SPORTNOW 10x6.5ft Football Goal - Metal Frame, Padded - Yellow A62-055V00YL is a 300 x 120 x 200 cm training goal with a rust-resistant painted metal frame wrapped in EPE padding and PVC sleeves to reduce impact injuries. High-density PE netting and seven J-shaped ground stakes give all-weather durability and secure anchorage for powerful shots, with straightforward assembly for garden or park use. FastDaddyshop consultants recommend all seven stakes on soft turf or ballast on hard surfaces for best stability.
This SPORTNOW 10x6.5ft football goal (300 x 120 x 200 cm) is a purpose-built garden and park training net that balances sturdiness with family-friendly safety. From the practical experience of our consultants, the painted metal frame with PVC-wrapped tubes and EPE foam padding around the posts reduces sharp-contact injuries and makes this model more suitable for mixed-age play than lightweight pop-up nets. The goal’s PE netting (mesh 300 x 263 cm) copes well with repeated shooting drills, and the seven J-shaped ground stakes provide extra anchorage — particularly useful when you move from a soft lawn to uneven park turf.
Based on the experience of FastDaddyshop store managers, this yellow, black-accented goal (Item label A62-055V00YL) is ideal for family training sessions and youth coaching. Our consultants often recommend using all seven stakes on soft ground; on hard surfaces, consider additional ballast (sandbags or weights) to prevent tipping. Recommended age is 5+ — in practice younger children should always be supervised.
For shoppers comparing options: a fully portable pop-up goal is quicker to set up but typically lacks the metal-frame stability and padded protection of this SPORTNOW model. Conversely, a heavy-duty steel frame goal used in club training is more robust for competitive use but less practical for domestic set-ups because of weight and storage. Based on observations from our consultants, the SPORTNOW 10x6.5ft sits between those extremes and suits backyard kickabouts and regular family practice.
Practical cautions: the frame is painted metal and requires routine checks for nicks to the finish — particularly if the goal is left outside all year. In coastal locations or very damp gardens, inspect for surface corrosion periodically and dry/cover the padding and net after prolonged wet weather.
